And yes, that is a giant chocolate lollipop covered in milk chocolate and thousands of whole hazelnuts. How do we know? let's just say there were a few missing by the time we left... :)
I think the lack of flexibility on mixing and matching the traditional afternoon tea and wickedly delicious but sugar coma inducing chocolate tea was a bit of a disappointment! Great pics - I think that giant chocolate lollipop felt quite violated!

ReplyDeleteYes, totally agree that it shouldn't have even been a question by them considering (a) you had rung in advance (b) it would have just been a matter of taking the pre-made desserts out of the dessert fridge to arrange (it's not as if they were making them on the spot - see photos above).
Thanks so much for organising again, and can't wait for our I-talian inspired outing..
